1. Accused Arpit Laxman Amlani is hereby convicted vide section 255(2) of The Criminal Procedure Code, for the offence punishable under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and he is sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for 01 (One) year and to pay fine of Rs.5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only), in default of payment of fine he shall suffer simple imprisonment for further period of 8 days.
2.The accused shall also pay compensation of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to the complainant u/sec.357(1)(b) of Code of Criminal Procedure.
