(Substitute Service through Speed Post)
1. The present application is filed by the plaintiff to serve
defendant No. 2 through substitute service.
2. I have gone through the record. Bailiff report is not
received. It is submitted by the plaintiff that all the defendants were
served, except the defendant No.2. Hence, requested for substitute
service. Therefore, this Court is of the view that as Bailiff report is not

there, in addition to the service through Bailiff, defendant No.2 needs to
be served by Speed Post. Hence, permission is granted to serve the
defendant No. 2 through Speed Post. Therefore, defendant No. 2 be
served under Order V Rule 21 of the C.P.C. by Speed Post
simultaneously in addition to service through Bailiff on the given
address. Hence, I proceed to pass the following order :
ORDER
1. The application Exh.07 is hereby allowed.
2. The writ of summons be served on defendant No. 2 under Order
V Rule 21 of Code of Civil Procedure by Speed Post
simultaneously in addition to service through Bailiff.
3. The application is disposed of accordingly.
4. The order is digitally signed; hence, it be uploaded on Case
Information System (CIS) and the printout of the digitally signed
order, additionally signed by me be kept on record as the physical
record is maintained by the Court.
