Present:- Ms. Kamini Devi, Ld. counsel for the petitioner.
The present application has been moved seeking
release of amount in the form of FDR bearing no.061712 lying in
the name of deceased Brij Lal with UCO Bank, Karkardooma
branch, Delhi in favour of his wife Smt. Raj Rani i.e. the
applicant herein.
Submissions heard. Record perused.
As per the applicant, the applicant and her deceased
husband received compensation in respect of a motor vehicular
accident. The compensation amount of Rs.2Lakh was deposited
in the name of applicant’s husband i.e. Sh. Brij Lal, who has
expired on 23.10.2020. The copy of death certificate has been
annexed with the application.
On behalf of applicant NOC of all the legal heirs in
favour of applicant Smt. Raj Rani along with documents and
Surviving Member Certificate filed. As all the legal heirs has
given their no objection for release of the FDR amount in favour
of applicant, accordingly the application is allowed.
Manager, UCO Bank, Karkardooma branch, Delhi is
directed to release the entire amount in the form of FDR bearing
no.061712 lying in the name of deceased Brij Lal in favour of
the applicant Smt. Raj Rani by way of transferring the same into
her saving bank account, details of which shall be produced by

the applicant along with her identification document to the Bank
Manager.
The application is disposed of in aforesaid terms.
This miscellaneous file be consigned to Record Room and be
tagged with the main file.
Copy of this order be sent to the Manager, UCO
Bank for compliance. A copy of the order be given Dasti, free of
cost, to the applicant.
