plaintiff is decreed. Plaintiff is entitled to recover a sum of Rs.
20,000/- from the defendant. However, in the considered opinion
of this Court, interest @ 18 % per annum is on a higher side.
This Court is of the view that the plaintiff will be sufficiently
compensated if interest @ 6 % p.a. is granted to him. Thus, the
suit of the plaintiff is decreed for a sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty
Thousand Rupees only) along with interest @ 6 % p.a. from the
date of filing of suit till the realization of amount. No order as to
cost.
Decree sheet be prepared accordingly.
File be consigned to record room after due
compliance.
