Inspection report filed by BSES, wherein it is
mentioned that there is an electricity connection at the third floor
of the suit property in the name of Ms. Priyanka Chaddha. Vide
order dt. 08.01.2024, Ld. Predecessor had observed that the DH
is at liberty to obtain an independent connection from DISCOM
in accordance with the rules and without any formal No
Objection from the defendant/ Priyanka Chaddha. The DH did
apply to BSES, however, his request was not allowed on the
ground there is an electricity connection in existence in the name
of Ms. Priyanka Chaddha. Vide order dt. 29.04.2024, Hon’ble
Delhi High Court observed that a new connection be granted to
the DH subject to the condition that the existing connection in
the name of Ms. Priyanka Chaddha be disconnected.
BSES is directed to comply with the order of
Hon’ble Delhi High Court dt. 29.04.2024 positively before the
next date.
Renotify the matter on 04.02.2026. At request of
DH, date is changed to 11.02.2026.
Copy of order be given dasti.
