Case Refresh

Think an existing TrustJury case record may be out of date?

Request a fresh check of an existing TrustJury case record. If newer public case information is available to TrustJury, the record may be updated after review.

Case Refresh is charged per case refresh request and is purchased through Lawzapo.

Refresh Request

TrustJury re-checks the case using the public information available to the platform and updates the record only where newer supported information is found.

Use Case Refresh When

The case exists, but may be stale.

  • ✓The case already exists on TrustJury.
  • ✓The case has a valid CNR.
  • ✓You believe the next hearing date, case status, stage, order, disposal or other public case information may have changed.
  • ✓You want TrustJury to perform a fresh check of the existing record.

Use Another Tool When

The problem is not stale case data.

  • —A case that does not exist on TrustJury yet.
  • —Directly editing Court data yourself.
  • —Forcing a particular hearing date, order or outcome into the record.
  • —Verifying your lawyer-to-case association.
  • —Monitoring future hearing-date changes on an ongoing basis.

How It Works

One case. One refresh request.

01

Open the existing case

Choose the case from your TrustJury dashboard or search by CNR.

02

Review the current TrustJury record

Check the current case status, next hearing date and last updated information before purchasing a refresh.

03

Purchase one refresh request

Each Case Refresh request is a separate paid transaction through the unified TrustJury Solutions page on Lawzapo.

04

TrustJury performs a fresh check

TrustJury reviews newer public case information available to the platform for that CNR.

05

Record updated if supported

If newer supported information is found, TrustJury updates the case record. Otherwise, the refresh can complete without a record change.

What Can a Refresh Check?

Public case information that may have changed.

A refresh does not guarantee a change. It is a fresh check of the existing TrustJury case record against newer public information available to the platform.

Next hearing date
Case status or stage
New or updated order information
Decision or disposal information
Nature of disposal
Court / judge information where the public record has changed
Other supported public case details

Before You Purchase

Confirm the case already exists on TrustJury.

Enter a CNR as a front-end helper, then search TrustJury before purchasing. Your developer can later connect this component to the existing case search and display the real last-refreshed timestamp.

Pay Per Case Refresh

One paid request for one case refresh.

If you want three different cases refreshed, that is three separate refresh requests. Current pricing and payment terms should be shown on Lawzapo.

A paid refresh purchases the fresh-check service. It does not guarantee that newer public information exists or that the TrustJury record will change.

FAQ

Case Refresh

Is Case Refresh charged per case?

Yes. One case refresh request is one paid transaction. Refreshing three different cases means three refresh requests.

Can both pending and concluded cases be refreshed?

Yes. Pending cases may need refreshes for hearing dates, status or new orders, while concluded cases may need a fresh check for final decision or disposal information.

Does payment guarantee that the case will change?

No. Payment purchases the refresh service. If no newer supported public information is available to TrustJury, the request can complete without any change to the case record.

Can I request another refresh while one is already pending?

The recommended workflow is to block duplicate refresh requests for the same CNR while an existing request is still pending.

What if the case is missing entirely?

Use Add Missing Case rather than Case Refresh.

What if I want ongoing hearing-date monitoring?

Use Case Alerts. Case Refresh is a one-time fresh check; Case Alerts is the recurring monitoring product for next-hearing-date changes.
