Read application. I have gone the pleading of the
applicant and found that, applicant is resident of Dist. Pune,
opposite party is resident of Chinchapur, Post. Undri, Tal.
Dharur, Dist. Beed. Accident took place within the jurisdiction of
police station Khopoli, Dist. Raigad. The applicant has
submitted an affidavit of jurisdiction contending that, as the
insurance company having its head office at Mumbai, therefore,
he submitted this claim application at Mumbai.
It be noted that, Khopoli is situated within the Jurisdiction
of District Court, Raigad and the District Judge of Raigad also
having power to try this case. Considering these facts, in my
view, it would proper to hear the applicant on the point of
jurisdiction. Hence applicant is here by directed to remain
present for hearing on the point of jurisdiction on 20/07/2026.
