In MACP No.690 of 2015
1. Advocate of the applicant has filed application for
disbursement of award amount. Report of the Account officer
and Clerk (Writ Department) was called for. Account officer
has given report that the New India Assurance Co. Ltd. has
deposited the amount of Rs.86,19,937/- on 31/05/2024 and
out of which an amount of Rs.8,24,000/- is balance for
disbursement. Clerk (Writ Department) has given report that
there is no stay in the matter by the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
2. First Appeal 1571/2024 is disposed off in terms of
settlement of Rs.78,21,349/-. Hence, applicant prayed for
remaining amount. As the First Appeal 1571/2024 is disposed
off in terms of settlement and there is no stay for disbursement
of award amount, the balance amount can be disbursed.
Hence, the order-
ORDER
(i) The application is allowed.
(ii) Accounts officer to disburse the amount of
Rs.8,24,000/- to the applicant Vandana Dinkar
Patil along with accured interest by NEFT/RTGS.
(iii) Issue letter to Branch Manager, UCO Bank,
Chowapaty Branch, Mumbai bank.
