In MACP No.1902 of 2019
1. Advocate of the applicant no.2 has filed application
for recalling and disbursing award amount in her name as she
has attained majority. Report of the Account officer and Clerk
(Writ Department) was called for. Account officer has given
report that the Cholamandalam Gen. Ins. Co. Ltd. has
deposited the amount of Rs.2,00,000/- on 03/09/2021 and the
same is invested in the name of A.O. in Bank of Maharashtra,
Girgaon Branch, Mumbai. Clerk (Writ Department) has given
report that there is no stay in the matter by the Hon’ble High
Court.
2. Upon perusal of Birth Certificate at Exh.5/7, it is
seen that that date of birth of applicant no.2 Taskuruna Khatun
Najibul Mondal is 01/08/2002. Thus, she has attained majority
on 01/08/2020. By Lok-Adalat Order passed in MACP
1992/2019, the applicant no.2 was granted 25% share of
compensation i.e. Rs.2,00,000/-. As said amount is unclaimed,
it is recalled. As applicant no.2 Taskuruna Khatun Najibul
Mondal has attained majority, the compensation amount of
Rs.2,00,000/- can be disbursed to her. Hence, the order-
ORDER
(i) The application is allowed.
(ii) Accounts officer to recall the amount of
Rs.2,00,000/- and disburse to applicant no.2
Taskuruna Khatun Najibul Mondal along with

accured interest by NEFT/RTGS.
(iii) Issue letter to Bank of Maharashtra, Girgaon
Branch, Mumbai.
