AWARD
The dispute between the parties having been referred for
determination to the National Lok-Adalat, wherein the informant is
present before the panel through video conference. The informant filed
compounding pursis and thereby submitted that he does not want to
proceed with this case against the accused. We have verified the
contents of the compounding pursis. The offence leveled against the
accused is punishable under section 303 (2) of the BNS, which is a
compoundable offence. The case/matter has been compromised/settled
in the National Lok-Adalat. Hence, following award is passed in terms
of the settlement.

1. The case stands disposed of in view of the
compounding pursis.
2. The accused stands acquitted of the offence punishable
under section 303 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita,
2023 vide section 359 (8) of the Bharatiya Nagarik
Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
3. The bail bonds of the accused if any, stand cancelled.
4. The seized muddemal property i.e. black coloured
mobile handset of Redmi company, has already been
temporarily returned to the informant on executing his
indemnity bond. The said bond shall stand cancelled
after appeal period is over and the informant to retain
the said mobile handset absolutely.
5. The warrant if any issued against the accused,
immediately be returned back to the Court.
