ORDER BELOW COMPOUNDING APPLICATION
Today informant and both accused appeared before
this Court. The informant wants to compound the matter.
Therefore, the matter was sent for mediation. As per the report
received from the trained mediator at Exh.4, mediation is
successful. Accordingly both parties have jointly filed an application
at Exh.5 to compound the offence. The offence under Section 509,
323 of IPC are compoundable with the leave of the Court.
2. On inquiry with informant he has submitted that he
has settled the matter with accused and he wants to withdraw the
prosecution voluntarily. They have stated that they have voluntarily
signed the application. Considering the nature of offence, I do not
find any harm in allowing the informant to compound the offence.
Thus, following order :
ORDER
1. Permission to compound the offence is granted.
2. In view of statement of parties and report of trained
mediator, the matter is settled between parties.
3 Accused are hereby acquitted under Section

320(8) of the Cr.P.C.
4 Bail bonds of the accused stand cancelled.
5 Proceeding is closed.
