ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR OBTAINING NO OBJECTION FOR
RENEWAL OF PASSPORT
An applicant / accused Clifford James Rodrigues is
seeking 'No objection and permission required' for obtaining his
passport. He is further submitted that during the pendency of the
C.C.No. 1169/PW/2013 lodged with Sahar police station, he has
applied for obtaining passport to the local passport authority. On
verification of his submitted documents, the Passport Authority has
called for the 'No objection and permission for renewal of the passport
of the applicant. He has further submitted that he is in need of said
passport. He had assured that he is making this application only to
obtain 'No Objection' for renewal of passport and not to travel anywhere
outside India. He is permanent resident of Andheri, Mumbai and
produced his Aadhar Card and PAN card on record. He will abide by
the conditions imposed on him. Hence, he has requested necessary
order.
2. I.O. has objected the application on the basis of probability
of the accused to jump the conditions and he will remain absent during
the pendency of this case which will hamper the legal procedure.

3 I have gone through say of Ld. APP for the state. Accused
is permanent resident of Andheri. Considering the stage of trial and
applicant's claim he is not going outside India during the pendency of
this trial. So also the applicant has mentioned in this application stating
that no objection be issued for 10 years. Hence, I proceed to pass
following order.
ORDER
1. Application is allowed.
2 This court has no objection to grant the applicant/
accused viz Clifford James Rodrigues new passport for the period of/10
(Ten) years.
3. This proceeding be attached with the chargesheet.
4. Applicant / accused is directed not to travel out of
India without permission to this court.
