ORDER BELOW THE APPLICATION FOR STAY OF EXECUTION OF
THE DISTRESS WARRANT

Today the respondent, Venugopal against whom the
distress warrant for recovery of the maintenance amount is issued, files
this application interalia submitting that he is ready to pay the amount
of Rs.1,00,000/. He further undertakes to deposit 10% amount out of
the total due amount. According to him, he is being disturbed by the
police.
2. In fact, the present is fixed on 16/04/2025 for return of
report of distress warrant and payment of the arrears of the
maintenance amount. Today the respondent has also filed the
application for cancellation of distress warrant. Since the respondent
has filed several documents alongwith the said application, the say of
the applicant is called. However, having regard to the bonafide
submission made by the respondent and his undertaking filed before
this Court for making the payment, I think that it would be proper to
stay the execution of the distress warrant till 16/04/2025.
