ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF PASSPORT
1. This is an application filed by applicant/accused Jaywant
Bhavanishankar Pikale seeking permission for renewal of his Passport
bearing No.L-1693084 for 10 years, which is valid till 21/04/2023. The
prosecution has filed say and contended that, criminal case is pending
against accused and if the permission is granted to the
applicant/accused, he may may not remain present for trial.
2. Heard both the sides and perused the case record. As
applicant/accused has sought permission for renewal of his Passport
and undertaken to take permission of this Court whenever the applicant
is traveling abroad and to attend the Court in person or through the
Advocate. Hence, I proceed to pass following order :-
O R D E R
i) Application is allowed and permission is granted to the
applicant for renewal of passport bearing No. L-1693084 as per Rules.
ii) The applicant/accused is directed not to leave India during
pendency of this matter i.e. C.C. No. 1839/PW/2005 (C.R. No.
618/1996 of Vileparle Police Station), without taking prior permission
of this Court and to make himself available as and when directed by this
Court.
