J U D G M E N T
(Delivered on 24/07/2024)
1. The accused is charge-sheeted for the offence punishable
under Section 143(1) of the Railways Act. As per the case of the
prosecution, on 14/03/2018, at Aapki Seva, Behind Classic Hotel,
Andheri (E), Mumbai, the accused was found doing illegal business of
selling E-tickets of Railway Authority for traveling to the passengers
without having any legal licence.
2. The accused is present. The accused pleaded guilty. I have
verified the accused. The accused has voluntarily pleaded guilty. Hence, I

accept the same. I have heard the accused on the point of sentence. He
prayed for leniency the following order. :-
ORDER
1] The accused is convicted for the offence punishable under
Section 143(1) of the Railways Act vide Section 241 of Code of Criminal
Procedure and he is sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default to
suffer simple imprisonment for one month.
2] Order regarding muddemal property :-
(i) 12 unused tickets of railway be returned to Railway Administration.
(ii) 01 mobile of Itel company be returned to the accused.
3] The amount of above fine be adjusted out of the cash bail amount
deposited by the accused, if any.
4] Copy of judgment be given to the accused free of cost.

That you accused on 14/03/2018, at Aapki Seva, Behind Classic
Hotel, Andheri (E), Mumbai, was found doing illegal business of selling E-
tickets of Railway Authority for traveling to the passengers without having
any legal licence, and thereby committed an offence punishable under
Section 143(1) of the Railways Act, 1989 and within my cognizance.
And I hereby direct that you be tried on the aforesaid charges.
