accused used weighing scale which is not verified and stamped and that
you have thereby committed an offence punishable under Rule 24 (1)
of the Maharashtra Legal Metrology (Enf) Rules, 2011 and punishable
under Rule 23 of the Rules.

JUDGMENT
The accused is present. He voluntarily pleaded guilty by
filing application. I have heard the accused. The accused is voluntarily
pleading guilt. Hence, I accept the same. Heard the accused on the
point of sentence. He prayed for leniency. Considering the nature of
offence and submissions of the accused, I pass the following order.
ORDER
1. The accused is convicted for the offence punishable under
under Rule 24 (1) of the Maharashtra Legal Metrology (Enf) Rules,
2011 and punishable under Rule 23 of the Rules vide section 252 of the
Code of Criminal Procedure and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.2,000/
(Rupees Two Thousand Only) in default the accused to suffer simple
imprisonment of 01 (One) month.
2. The seized muddemal property i.e. Iron Shegdi (शशगडड)
be returned to the accused.
3. Copy of the order be given free of cost to the accused.
