Mumbai 102, during the visit of complainant you were found selling
eatable oil without having proper declarations and particulars as per
Rules and that you have thereby committed an offence punishable
under Section 18 punishable under Section 36 of the Legal Metrology
Act 2009.

JUDGMENT
The accused is present. He voluntarily pleaded guilty by
filing application. I have heard the accused. The accused is voluntarily
pleading guilt. Hence, I accept the same. Heard the accused on the
point of sentence. He prayed for leniency. Considering the nature of
offence and submissions of the accused, I pass the following order.
ORDER
1. The accused is convicted for the offence punishable under
under Section 18 punishable under Section 36 of the Legal Metrology
Act 2009 vide Section 252 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and
sentenced to pay a fine of Rs. 5,000/ (Rupees Five Thousand Only) in
default the accused to suffer simple imprisonment of 01 (One) month.
2. Copy of the order be given free of cost to the accused.
