Name of the accused : Santosh Namdev Golatkar,

R/o. 2/12, Prashant Niwas,
Bandrekarwadi, Jogeshwari (E),
Mumbai.
1. That you accused on 07/07/2018 at 3.20 hours near JVLR
Junction, Western Express Highway, Jogeshwari (E), Mumbai, drove
your motorcar bearing No. MH-04-GU-1673 on a public road, in a
manner so rash or negligent as to endanger human life, or to be likely
to cause hurt or injury to any other person, and thereby committed an
offence punishable under Section 279 of the Indian Penal Code.
2. On above said date, time and place, you accused drove your
above mentioned vehicle in wrong side, your act was so rash or
negligent as to endanger human life or the personal safety of others and
thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 336 of the
Indian Penal Code.
3. On above said date, time and place, you accused drove your
above mentioned vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed
against the motorcar of the informant and damaged its front door and
caused wrongful loss to the parts as mentioned in the complaint and

thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 427 of the
Indian Penal Code.
4. On above said date, time and place, you accused drove
your vehicle in rash and negligent manner and gave dash to the car of
the informant and thereafter ran away without informing to the Police
about accident and thereby committed an offence punishable under
Section 134(b) of the Motor Vehicle Act and within my cognizance.

ORDER
The accused is present. He voluntarily pleaded guilty by
filing application. I have heard the accused. The accused is
voluntarily pleading guilt. Hence, I accept the same. Heard the
accused on the point of sentence. He prayed for leniency.
Considering the nature of offence and submissions of the accused, I
pass the following order:
ORDER
1. The accused is convicted of the offence punishable under
Section 279 of the Indian Penal Code vide Section 252 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.1,000/-
(Rupees One Thousand Only) in default the accused to suffer simple
imprisonment of 1 (one) day.
2. He is also convicted of the offence punishable under
Section 336 of the Indian Penal Code vide Section 252 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.250/- (Rupees
Two Hundred Fifty Only) in default the accused to suffer simple
imprisonment of 1 day.
3. He is also convicted of the offence punishable under
Section 427 of the Indian Penal Code vide Section 252 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.2,000/-

(Rupees Two Thousand Only) in default the accused to suffer simple
imprisonment of 1 day.
4. He is also convicted of the offence punishable under
Section 134(b) of the Motor Vehicle Act vide Section 252 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs.100/- (Rupees
One Hundred Only) in default the accused to suffer simple
imprisonment of 1 (one) day.
5. Total fine amount of Rs. 3,350/- be given to the
informant as compensation vide Section 357(3) of Cr.P.C.
6. Copy of the order be given free of cost to the accused.
