ORDER BELOW EXH. 1
The case is on todays board. Perused the record. The case
is more than 05 years old. The accused is chargesheeted for the
offence punishable under Section 142 of the Maharashtra Police Act.
The accused is absent since long. The presence of the accused could
not be secured since long. Therefore, considering the nature of offence
and age of the case, I am of the view that this is a fit case to stop the
proceeding. Hence, the proceeding is stopped vide Section 258 of the
Code of Criminal Procedure. Cash security amount deposited by the
accused, if any, is forfeited and credited to State. Proceeding is closed
accordingly.
