hoardings/banner on the public road without any license or permit from
competent authority and made defacement of public property and
thereby committed an offence punishable u/Sec. 3 of Maharashtra
Prevention of Defacement to Public Property Act, 1995 and within my
cognizance.

ORDER
The accused is present. He voluntarily pleaded guilty by
filing application. I have heard the accused. The accused is voluntarily
pleading guilt. Hence, I accept the same. Heard the accused on the
point of sentence. He prayed for leniency. Therefore, considering the
nature of offence and submissions of the accused, I pass the following
order:
ORDER
1. The accused is convicted of the offence punishable under
Section 3 of the Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Act
vide Section 252 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and sentenced to
pay fine of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) in default the
accused to suffer simple imprisonment of 1 (one) day.
2. Copy of the order be given free of cost to the accused.
