ORDER BELOW THE APPLICATION OF ACCUSED/APPLICANT FOR
REISSUE OF PASSPORT.
1. This is an application made by accused/applicant Siddharth
Chhaju Bhargav for reissue of passport. Accused is chargesheeted for the
offences punishable under Section 5, 6, 8 of the Maharashtra Prevention of
Malpractices at University Board and Specified Examination Act, 1982 r/w.
Section 66 (D) of Information Technology Act, 2000. In the present case
chargesheet is filed and now the present case under the caption of Not heard.
The accused/applicant is holder and owner of Indian Passport bearing
No.U1016250 which was expired on 08.10.2020 and therefore, he prayed for
reissue of passport as per the provisions of Passport Act.
2. Say of APP was called. APP has opposed the application for
renewal of passport of the accused/applicant.
3. The accused/applicant undertakes to be present before Court
whenever so mandated. Hence, order:
O R D E R
1. Application is allowed.
2. Passport Authorities may consider the applicant's prayer for renewal of
passport for 10 years as per prescribed Rules, as this Court has no objection to
renew the passport.
3. Accused is hereby directed to furnish copy of renewed Passport for
record of this Court.
4. Applicant/accused is hereby directed to take prior permission of this
Court before travel abroad. He is further directed to file separate application
for seeking permission to travel abroad.
