ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR ADJOURNMENT DATED 21/09/2026
It is the matter of record that the accused obtained adjournment
on 28/07/2026. It was allowed. Today again he is seeking adjournment on
the ground that Advocate on record is not present. On inquiry with him, he is
unable to name his Advocate and states that he has no idea about the
Advocate’s name and identity as his father has appointed said Advocate for
him and his father has informed him that said Advocate is out of station. His
father is not present before the Court. However, on further inquiry with him
he states that he had conversation with said Advocate long time ago.
2. The prosecution has strongly opposed the application on the
ground of conduct of accused. Certainly, the conduct of accused is causing the
matter to be adjourned. However, to give fair opportunity as a last change,
adjournment can be granted subject to reasonable cost. Thus, the application
for adjournment is granted with cost of Rs. 3,000/- to be paid to the witness
today itself.
