ORDER BELOW EXH.1
Applicant named Mrs. Usha Prakash Gaikwad, filed
present application and thereby prayed to send a person named
Mr. Prabhakar Ramchandra Gaikwad, who, is mentally ill for
further treatment to Mental Hospital, Thane. Initially he was sent
for the medical observance to Cooper Hospital, Mumbai. The
Medical Officer of Cooper hospital reported about mental health
of Mr. Prabhakar Ramchandra Gaikwad, that, he is suffering from
mental illness and patient required indoor management, hence,
requested to sent him mental hospital, Thane, for further
management. Sisterinlaw of Prabhakar Ramchandra Gaikwad,
filed her affidavit at Exh.3 and she is taking the responsibility of
him. Hence, she herself prayed to send Prabhakar Ramchandra
Gaikwad, to Thane Mental Hospital for better treatment. She
further stated that, she is ready to bear the medical expenses,
hence, considering all medical reports and submission of relative
of Prabhakar Ramchandra Gaikwad, and in the interest of health
and personal safety of mentally ill person. Hence, I pass following
order.
ORDER
1] Application of applicant Mrs. Usha Prakash Gaikwad,
is hereby allowed to admit Mr. Prabhakar
Ramchandra Gaikwad, at Mental Hospital, at Thane,
for further management.

2] The mentally ill person viz. Mr. Prabhakar
Ramchandra Gaikwad, be sent to proper medical
custody in an observation ward of Thane Mental
Hospital for a period of 30 days.
3] The sisterinlaw of mentally ill person, name Mrs.
Usha Prakash Gaikwad, shall bear the medical
expenses at Thane Mental Hospital.
4] Issue reception order accordingly in favour of
Superintendent Mental Hospital, Thane.
