ORDER BELOW EXH.1
Sr. Police Inspector of Amboli police station have filed
present application and thereby prayed to send a person viz. Smt.
Deepa Ankush Mhapankar, who is mentally ill, for further
treatment to Regional Mental Hospital, Thane. Application of
applicant is supported with original medical certificate of mentally
ill person, issued by Medical Officer of Regional Mental Hospital,
Thane. Initially she was sent for the medical observance to
Regional Mental Hospital, Thane. Department of psychiatry of
Thane Hospital, reported about mental health of her, she is
suffering from mental illness and patient required indoor
management, hence, requested to send her Regional Mental
Hospital, Thane, for further management. No friend, relatives
ready to take her care and responsibility. Hence, Sr. PI of Amboli
police station prayed to send said mentally ill person to Regional
Mental Hospital, Thane for further treatment. Hence, considering
all medical reports of said mentally ill person and in the interest of
health and personal safety of mentally ill person, I pass following
order.
ORDER
1 Application of applicant Sr. Police Inspector of Amboli
police station, is hereby allowed to admit mentally ill
person viz. Smt. Deepa Ankush Mhapankar, at Regional
Mental Hospital, at Thane, for further management.

2 The mentally ill person viz. Smt. Deepa Ankush
Mhapankar be sent to proper medical custody in an
observation ward of Regional Mental Hospital, Thane
for a period of 10 (Ten) days.
3 Issue reception order accordingly, in favour of
Superintendent Mental Hospital, Thane.
