ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF PASSPORT
1. This is an application of the applicant/accused Irfan Ulla
Farooqui for permission to renew his passport bearing No. L7123931 for
the period of ten years. The applicant submitted that he is ready to
abide by all the conditions which may be imposed by this Court. Hence,
permission be granted to him for renewal of his passport.
2. The learned APP filed her say and objected the application
by submitting that there is a chance of absconding in order to avoid
trial. Hence, it is objected. I have gone through the record. The
accused is charge-sheeted with other accused for the offences
punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 452, 427, 504 and
506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code
(C.C.No.59/PW/2019, C.R.No.682/2008 of Oshiwara Police Station).
The applicant/accused is ready to abide by all the conditions. The
applicant/accused is only praying for grant of permission to renew his
passport. Considering the nature of offences, I am of the view that no
prejudice would be caused to the prosecution, if permission is granted
to the applicant/accused to renew his passport by imposing necessary
condition. Hence, the order.
ORDER
1. The application is allowed.

2. The Passport Authority shall process the application for
renewal of Passport without insisting for permission of the Court.
