ORDER BELOW EXH.1
Applicant viz.Shantabai Timanna Jadhav, filed
present application and thereby prayed to send a person named
Mr. Shrikant Timanna Jadhav, who is mentally ill, for further
treatment to Regional Mental Hospital, Thane. Initially he was
sent for the medical treatment/observance to Regional Mental
Hospital, Thane. Department of psychiatry of Regional Mental
Hospital, Thane reported about mental health of Mr. Shrikant
Timanna Jadhav that, he is suffering from mental illness and
patient required indoor management, hence, requested to sent
him Regional Mental Hospital, Thane, for further management.
Mother of Mr. Shrikant Timanna Jadhav filed her affidavit and she
is taking the responsibility of him. Hence, she herself prayed to
send Mr. Shrikant Timanna Jadhav to Regional Mental Hospital,
Thane for further treatment. She further stated that, she is ready
to bear the medical expenses, hence, considering all medical
reports of Mr. Shrikant Timanna Jadhav and in the interest of
health and personal safety of mentally ill person. Hence, I pass
following order.
ORDER
1 Application of applicant Mrs. Shantabai Timanna
Jadhav is hereby allowed to admit Mr. Shrikant
Timanna Jadhav, at Regional Mental Hospital, at
Thane, for further medical treatment.

2 The mentally ill person viz. Mr. Shrikant Timanna
Jadhav, be sent to proper medical custody in an
observation ward of Regional Mental Hospital, Thane
for a period of 15 days.
3 The mother of mentally ill person, named Mrs.
Shantabai Timanna Jadhav shall bear the medical
expenses at Regional Mental Hospital, Thane.
4 Issue reception order accordingly, in favour of
Superintendent Mental Hospital, Thane.
