COMMITTAL ORDER BELOW EXH.1
Today, the accused Somnath Deshmukh is present before the
Court. His Ld. Advocate absent. Present accused is charged with the
offences punishable under sections 376 and 420 of Indian Penal Code.
He is on bail. The offence punishable under section 376 of IPC is
exclusively triable by the Court of Sessions. The copies of police report
and other documents, as specified in section 207 of the Code of
Criminal Procedure have been supplied to the accused. Accused orally
submitted that he will engage lawyer of his choice for his defence
before Court of Sessions. The case will have to be committed to the
Court of Sessions Judge, Dindoshi. Hence, the order :-
O R D E R
1 The case be committed to the Court of Sessions Judge,
Dindoshi.
2 The accused is directed to appear before the Court of
Sessions Judge, Dindoshi on 15/01/2020.
3 The record of the case, the documents and articles, which
are to be produced in evidence, shall be sent to the Court
of Sessions Judge, Dindoshi immediately.
4 The Public Prosecutor shall be notified of the commitment
of the case to the Court of Sessions Judge, Dindoshi.
