ORDER BELOW EXH.1
Sr. Police Inspector of Amboli police station have filed
present application and thereby prayed to send a person/lady,
who is mentally ill, for further treatment to Regional Mental
Hospital, Thane. Application of applicant is supported with
original medical certificate of lady, issued by Medical Officer of
Regional Mental Hospital, Thane. Initially she was sent for the
medical observance to Regional Mental Hospital, Thane.
Department of psychiatry of Thane Hospital, reported about
mental health of her, she is suffering from mental illness and
patient required indoor management, hence, requested to send
her Regional Mental Hospital, Thane, for further management.
No friend, relatives found to take the care and responsibility of
her. Hence, Sr. PI of Amboli police station prayed to send said
lady to Regional Mental Hospital, Thane for further treatment.
Hence, considering all medical reports of said lady and in the
interest of health and personal safety of mentally ill person, I pass
following order.
ORDER
1 Application of applicant Sr. Police Inspector of Amboli
police station, is hereby allowed to admit Lerson/Lady,
at Regional Mental Hospital, at Thane, for further
management.

2 The mentally ill person/Lady be sent to proper medical
custody in an observation ward of Regional Mental
Hospital, Thane for a period of 10 (Ten) days.
3 Issue reception order accordingly, in favour of
Superintendent Mental Hospital, Thane.
