ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE OF PASSPORT
Applicant/accused namely Smt. Laxmi Sunkappa
Jadhav has filed this application for issuance of fresh passport. She
has contended that, she is facing the criminal trial. Her passport
bearing No.N8028567 will expired on 28.03.2026. Therefore, she
has filed this application for renewal of passport for next ten years.
2) Heard learned Advocate for accused and Ld. A.P.P.
Perused application, say filed by Ld. A.P.P.
3) Accused is facing trial since the year 2019. It appears
that the passport of accused will expire on 28.03.2026. This is not
the matter of permission to travel abroad. It is mere permission to
renew the passport. Merely granting permission to renew the
passport will not allow her to travel abroad. Hence, there is no
need to have apprehension that she will abscond on renewal of
passport. Considering the nature of offence and the above
circumstance, I do not find any reason to disallow such permission.
Hence, I proceed to pass following order :
ORDER
1) Application is allowed.

2) Permission granted to renew the passport of
applicant/accused Smt. Laxmi Sunkappa Jadhav subject to
condition that, she shall seek permission of this Court prior
to travel abroad.
