ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR ISSUANCE OF PASSPORT
Applicant/accused namely Mr. Adrian Dias has filed this
application for issuance of fresh passport for ten years. He has
contended that, he is facing the criminal trial.
2) Heard learned Advocate for accused and Ld. A.P.P. Perused
application and say filed by Ld. A.P.P. I.O. and respondent have not filed
say.
3) The FIR is registered against applicant/accused in the year
2022. Charge sheet is not yet filed. This is not the matter of permission
to travel abroad. It is mere application for NOC for issuance of new
passport. Merely granting permission to issue the new passport will not
allow him to travel abroad. Hence, there is no need to have
apprehension that he will abscond on issuance of new passport.
Considering the nature of offence and the above circumstance, I do not
find any reason to disallow such permission. Hence, I pass following
order :
ORDER
a) Application is allowed.
b) Permission granted to issue new passport of applicant/accused
Mr. Adrian Dias for ten years.
