REASONS
Accused has produced before me on 07.11.2025 before Jail
Court. In the jail court, he moved an application and submitted that he wish
to plead guilty. Earlier his plea was recorded on 15.10.2025, to which he
pleaded not guilty. Accused is in jail since 30.07.2025.

Heard the accused in person. He submitted that, lenient view
may be taken as he is the only earning member of his family. Considering
the nature of offence, antecedents of accused, age of accused and the
period of detention already undergone, pass following order :-
ORDER
i) Accused Ramjan Jimal Ahmed Shaikh @ Raju Karela is
convicted under section 285 of B.N.S.S. for the offence
punishable u/sec. 303(2) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita and he is
sentenced to suffer R.I. for Six (6) months.
ii) Accused Ramjan Jimal Ahmed Shaikh @ Raju Karela is
convicted under section 285 of B.N.S.S. for the offence
punishable u/sec. 142 of Maharashtra Police Act and he is
sentenced to suffer R.I. for Six (6) months and fine of
Rs.500/-. In default of payment of fine, he shall undergo
further S.I. for 5 days.
iii) Both the sentences shall run concurrently.
iv) Accused is in custody since 30.07.2025. He is entitled to get
benefit of set off for the period of detention already
undergone vide under section 468 of B.N.S.S.
v) Seized cash of Rs.2,100/- be returned to informant after
appeal period is over.
vi) Copy of this judgment be supplied to accused free of cost.
