Cross examination of CW-01- Sangita Dhotre by advocate Mr.Shailesh
Pawar for the accused :
12. I am teacher in Excellant Classes. I get approximately
Rs.10,000/- per month from teaching in Excellant Classes. I am
knowing accused Sangita and her husband Raju since 15 years as both
are residing in same address near to me. During said 15 years there
was no talking instances in between us. It is true to say that there was
no friendship in between me and accused. My husband was knowing
them. Miresh Ranga Manjarekar is my younger brother. It is true to say
that he is also known by name Babu. I have produced details as to
making payment of Rs.8 lakhs to the accused. It is not true to say that I
have not produced any such records. I again say I have not produced
record as to giving money of Rs.8 lakhs to the accused. It is not true to
say that I have never given any amount to the accused and as such I
have not produced any record to that effect. I do not know that
husband of accused Mr. Raju has taken money on interest from my
brother Babu @ Miresh. I am not aware that Agreement is executed in
between my brother and husband of accused about said transaction. I
am not aware that subject cheque is given as a security by Mr. Raju to
my brother. Witness states that my brother Babu had told me about
giving such blank cheque by Raju with him. The cheque Exh.21 is given

by Raju Kunchikurve to me in the name of his wife. I do not remember
on what date or year the cheque was given to me. But two years have
lapsed. Raju Kunchikurve gave the cheque to me. It is true to say that I
had approached to Vakola Police Station for filing report againts Raju,
husband of the accused. It is true to say that first time Police refused to
accept my complaint but at second instance they accepted my
complaint. It is true to say that second time I approach to one Politician
who is himself advocate. It is true to say that I approached to a Minister
in Mantralaya. The Minister himself suggested me the name of local
politician. It is not true to say that I pressurize the police through
Minister to accept my complaint.
13. I had current account but now I closed it. The current
account was maintained with Bank of Baroda, Kalina branch in the
name of Gauri Tours and Travels.
On oral request of the advocate for the accused cross
examination is deferred till next date.

Mr.Shailesh Pawar for the accused :
14. It is not true to say that my husband was present in court
hall on last date. It is not true to say that I am deposing false that I
have produced documents showing payment made to the accused. It is
true to say that I have an account maintained with Bank of Baroda in
the name of Gauri Tours and Travels. It is true to say that accused has
deposited Rs.1,50,000/- in my Current Bank Account. It is not true to
say that said amount was given on interest to the accused. It is not true
to say that I have obtained disputed cheque as a security towards loan
of Rs.1,50,000/-. It is true to say that it is my contention that accused
shown me room. It is true to say that he had shown me room as an
agent. I have inquired who are owners of said rooms. I had not
executed Agreement before giving money. I have only obtained cheque
before giving money as security. I have obtained only one cheque which
is filed in present complaint. I obtained cheque after depositing money
by me in account of accused. I have with me a photo about giving
cheque by the accused to me. I have not lent money on interest.
Cheque was given in lieu of failure to give room. Cheque was issued for
refund of money. I do not remember date of giving cheque as 3 to 4
years have lapsed. I gave money in the year 2017-2018. Accused gave
cheque in the year 2018. It is true to say that I have registered FIR
against accused. It is true to say that I have stated to the police that I
have kept documents of house of accused with me. It is true to say that
as on date said documents are with me. I can identify signature of my
husband and brother. I am not aware as to any monetary transaction in

between my brother and husband of the accused. It is not true to say
that as per said transaction my brother Miresh Manjarekar @ Babu had
lent money on interest to the husband of the accused at the interest of
Rs.13,000/- per month. It is not true to say that as per said Agreement
accused has given subject cheque to my brother as a security. I am not
aware that said Agreement is signed by my husband as a witness. It is
not true to say that accused has not issued subject cheque to me. It is
not true to say that I have misused said cheque. It is not true to say that
husband of accused had obtained money on interest from my brother. It
is not true to say that said money is repaid to my brother. It is not true
to say that husband of accused had given subject cheque to my brother.
It is not true to say that subject cheque was given by my brother Babu
to me and I misused it. It is not true to say that I have filed false case to
extort more money. It is not true to say that I am deposing false on
oath.
