FURTHER ORDER BELOW EXH.1
1. The present application is filed under Section 13 of Registration of Births
and Deaths Act, 1969, for registration of death of applicant's father.
2. It is contended that applicant is resident of Dharavi, Mumbai, and his
father named as Mr. Ranganath Yeduba Khatikmare, died on 03.09.2019, at home
i.e. Room No.501, A Wing, Sidhivinayak C.H.S., Sant Rohidas Marg, Kala Killa,
Dharavi, Mumbai. Applicant being his son, not registered the death of his father
with respondent's office. Delay occurred and now it can not be registered. He is
in need of death certificate for various reasons. Therefore, present application for
issuing direction, for registration of death of the father of the applicant.
3. The application is supported by affidavits, Exhs.4, 5 and 7. The documents
produced i.e. copy of medical certificate of cause of death, issued by Municipal
Corporation of Greater Mumbai, copy of death report, Exh.9, copies of Aadhar
card and PAN card of deceased, Exhs.10 and 11, copy of Aadhar card of
applicant, Exh.12, proves relationship between the applicant and deceased and
the fact of death of applicant's father on the date mentioned, at his home on
account of illness. Considering these aspects and the necessity of the certificate
expressed by applicant, I am of the opinion that there is no hindrance in allowing
the application. Therefore, order :
ORDER
a. Application is allowed.
b. Respondent is directed to register the death of father of applicant named as
Mr. Ranganath Yeduba Khatikmare, as 03.09.2019, in its record on payment of
necessary fees by the applicant and issue death certificate.
c. Copy of this order shall be given free of cost to the applicant.
