ORDER
The accused Mr. Haider Rafique Qureshi is pleaded guilty. He
wanted to plead guilty. He is informed of the maximum sentence to be
imposed against him. He still maintained his plea. Satisfied with the
plea that he pleaded guilty voluntarily, his plea is accepted. Heard Ld.
A.P.P. and Advocate for accused. Considering the nature of offence,
following punishment would be meet ends of justice. Hence, I proceed
to pass following order :
ORDER
1. Accused Mr. Haider Rafique Qureshi is convicted as per Section
252 of Cr.P.C. for the offence punishable U/Sec.8(c) r/w.27 of
N.D.P.S. Act, 1985 and sentenced to suffer S. I. for two months
and six days.
2. The bail bond of the accused, if any stands cancelled.
3. Accused is in Jail since 17.07.2025. He is entitled for set off of the
period already undergone under Section 468 of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023.
4. Copy of order be given to accused free of cost.
