ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL / RE-ISSUANCE
OF PASSPORT
This application is filed by the applicant Kamjad Abdul Latif
Khan for no objection for renewal / re-issuance of passport. In the present
Miscellaneous application the applicant has contended that case bearing
no.737/N/1999 which was subsequently numbered as MECR No.12/1999
of Khar police Station is shown to be pending against him. However, there
is no such case pending against the applicant. However, during police
verification of passport, it is raised as objection by police to produce no
objection from concern court for passport renewal.
2. Perused application. Heard the applicant as well as Ld.
Advocate for applicant. Perused entire record. As per letter no. 3545 of
2023 dated 24/04/2023 by Khar Police, they have informed that there is no
information about pending of any such case in their records. As per
information under RTI Act bearing outward no.61/2023 dated 25/05/2023
of this court, there is no any such case bearing no.737/N/1999 which was
subsequently numbered as MECR No.12/1999 of Khar police Station is
pending against the applicant.
3. Hence, no ground is made out to reject the prayer of
applicant for issuance or renewal of his passport. Hence, application is
allowed and thereby given no objection for renewal / re-issuance of
passport for ten years. Copy of this order be attached to the concerned
proceeding.
