Today, the accused are appeared before me before lok-adalat
and made application for pleading guilty. He is submitted that he wants to
plead guilt. He is identified by his advocate. Particulars of offence is
framed against him, to which he voluntarily pleaded guilty. Heard
accused in person. He submitted that lenient view may be taken as they
are only earning member in their respective family. Considering the
nature of offence, circumstances under which it is committed,
antecedents of the accused & their age, I proceed to pass following order :
O R D E R
1. The accused is hereby convicted for the offence under 65(A) of
Maharashtra Prohibition Act and sentenced to pay fine of
Rs. 2,500/- ( Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred only), and in
default of payment of fine, to suffer simple imprisonment for 1
(One) day.
2. The accused is hereby convicted for the offence under 65(E) of
Maharashtra Prohibition Act and sentenced to pay fine of
Rs. 2,500/- ( Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred only), and in
default of payment of fine, to suffer simple imprisonment for 1
(One) day.

3. Seized liquor be forwarded to Excise Department, electric
motorcycle be returned to it’s original owner, after due verification
and remaining muddemal be destroyed.
