REASONS
The accused is produced before the court through video
conference today. Charge is framed against him, to which he voluntarily
pleaded guilty, as per the application at EXH. 2. Accused is in jail since
09.03.2025. Heard accused in person. He submitted that, lenient view
may be taken as he is the only earning member of his family.

Considering the nature of offence, antecedents of accused, age of
accused and the period of detention already undergone, pass following
order :-
ORDER
i) Accused Abdul Kalam Sultan Shaikh is convicted under
section 264 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita for the
offence punishable u/sec. 303(2) of the Bhartiya Nyay
Sanhita. He is sentenced to suffer Simple Imprisonment for
Three (3) months.
ii) Accused is in jail since 09.03.2025. He is entitled to get
benefit of set off for the period of detention already
undergone vide under section 468 of the B.N.S.S.
iii) Seized different companies batteries be returned to it’s
original owners, after due verification as per law, after the
appeal period is over.
iv) Copy of this judgment be supplied to the accused free of cost
forthwith.
v) Copy of Judgement be provided to accused free of cost.
