advocate S. R. Sharma for the accused :
18. I am servicing in BEST since year 2008. In the month of
March 2013 I was getting approximately Rs.7,000/- per month salary. I
was staying on rent at D’mello Compound Bhosle Chawl, Santacruz(E).
Said room belongs to my maternal aunt. I was not married in the year
2013. Therefore was there was no liability on me. It is not true to say
that in the year 2013 there was no saving for me. It is not true to say
that I do not have any document with me to show that in the year 2013
I had no money with me. I will have to produce bank statement.
Cross examination is deferred looking into possibility of
compromise between the parties.
