ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF BIRTH
1] This is an application filed by applicant Muttappa Gangaram
Derber with contention that his son Sunny Muttappa Derber was born on
21/09/2017 at home in the presence of neighbours and relatives.
2] The respondent i.e. Medical Officer of Health, G/North Ward
has filed report and submitted that the birth of Sunny Muttappa Derber born on
21/09/2017 to Mr. Muttappa Gangaram Derber and Smt. Sunkappa Mullappa
Derber is not registered with this office as there is no any proof regarding home
delivery of his son.
3] Alongwith this application, the applicant has filed on record his
Aadhaar card, ration card and certificate issued by doctor.
4] On perusing the affidavit, documents of the applicant in support of
his application and report of BMC, this Court did not find any hesitation to
accept that 21/09/2017 is true and correct date of birth of son of applicant.
Hence, proceed to pass following order.

ORDER
1] The application is allowed.
2] The concern authority 'The Registrar, Birth and Death, G/North
Ward, Dadar (W), Mumbai – 400 028 is directed to take entry of the date of
birth i.e. 21/09/2017 (Twenty First September Two Thousand Seventeen) of
Sunny Muttappa Derber son of Mr. Muttappa Gangaram Derber and Smt.
Sunkappa Mullappa Derber, in their register on accepting the fees as per the
rules.
