ORDER BELOW EXH.1
Case is taken for the Special Drive. This case is summons case
instituted otherwise than upon complaint for offence punishable under
Sections 294, 114, 34 of I.P.C. and Sections 3, 8(1)(2) and 8(4) of The
Maharashtra Prohibition of Obscene Dance in Hotels, Restaurants and
Bar Rooms and Protection of Dignity of Women (Working Therein) Act,
2016. Accused are absent since long. N.B.W. is standing against the
accused since November, 2022. The presence of accused not secured
since then. This case is more than 08 years old. In above circumstances,
the case can not be kept pending. Hence, the case is stopped under
Section 258 of Cr.P.C. The accused are released and such release shall
have the effect of discharge.
