Cross examination of CW-01- Mrs. Priya Rajaram Jadhav @ Pawar by
advocate Mr.Akshay More for the accused :
20. I know the accused since last 8 years. I can tell about the
family members of the accused. Accused has three daughters and one
son. Accused approached me in the year 2019 for giving friendly loan. I
do not recollect the date of giving said amount of Rs.16 lakhs to the
accused. I remember the date of giving cheque amount. On
25.02.2019, I gave first cheque to the accused. It might be of Rs.2 lakhs
or Rs.3 lakhs. I have not produced the bank statement to show said
payment but I can produce it. I gave him money by cheque of Vijaya
Bank which was later on converted into Bank of Baroda. At the time of
lending money to the accused I was housewife. I had money with me as
I had received money from my father from selling land in my name. At
the time of giving money, accused, her son and her daughters Geeta
and Nisha were present. Total transaction of Rs.16 lakhs was done in
between me and accused. I gave Rs.5 lakhs in cash out of Rs.16 lakhs. I
made payment of Rs.2 lakhs twice by cheque. I again gave her Rs.7
lakhs in cash in three installments of Rs.3 lakhs, Rs.2 lakhs and again
Rs.2 lakhs. I have not got executed any receipt or Agreement from the
accused as it was friendly loan. It is true to say that I have not given
detail description of the payment made to accused on several occasions

in my complaint.
On oral request of the advocate for the accused cross
examination is deferred till next date.
