1 Name of the accused : Mohd. Ubed Niyaz Ahmed Shaikh
2 The offence complained : Under Section 8 (c), 27 of N.D.P.S. Act.
3 Particulars of offence :
That, on 23.08.2021 at about 23.10 hrs. at Khoja Kabrastan, Mahim
Phatak, Dharavi, Mumbai you found consuming ganja and thereby committed an
offence punishable U/Sec.8 (c), 27 of N.D.P.S. Act. It is not true to say that
Plea of Accused :

Ans : Yes.
Q.2 : Have you received the copy of the chargesheet in this case?
Ans : Yes.
Q.3 : Do you plead guilty to the charge?
Ans : Yes.

The accused pleads guilty for the offences of which particulars are now
read over and explained to him. Hence, I accept the plea of guilty of the accused
and hold guilty for the said offence. Heard, the accused on the point of sentence.
He prays leniency. Lenient view is taken as his family depends on his earnings.
Hence, the following order :
ORDER
The accused is convicted for the offence p/u/sec.8(c), 27 of N.D.P.S. Act. Vide
Section 252 of Cr.P.C. and sentenced to pay fine of Rs.2,000/ (Rupees Two
Thousand only), in default he is sentence to suffer Simple Imprisonment of 07
(seven) days.
(Judgment is pronounced in open court.)
