ORDER BELOW BAIL APPLICATION
IN C. R. NO.199/2025 (Dharavi P.S.)
1. Perused record. Heard both the sides.
2. This is an application under Section 480 of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha
Sanhita (B.N.S.S.), for bail. Accused prayed for bail mainly on the ground
that she is poor and innocent. Investigation relating to her is over. She is ready
to remain abide by the conditions, if any, imposed, etc. Investigating Officer
and Ld. A.P.P. objected to it stating that investigation is in progress and there
is possibility of tampering.
3. Accused is in custody since 17.03.2025. The contraband is already
recovered. As such investigation relating to accused is over. Offence is triable
by this Court itself. Accused is a woman of advanced age. Accused is ready to
remain abide by the conditions. She is resident of place situated within the
jurisdiction of this court itself. The conclusion of investigation, filing of
charge-sheet and consequent conclusion of trial will take much time. Accused
is ready to remain abide by the conditions, if any, imposed. Considering
reasons mentioned in the application, say of the Investigating Officer and Ld.
A.P.P., and above aspects of the matter, following order.
ORDER
a. Application is allowed.
b. Accused Mrs. Parvati Mohan Naidu, is released on bail on her
furnishing P.B. and S.B. of Rs.15,000/-. Permission granted to deposit cash
surety instead of surety bond.
c. Accused shall furnish her detail address and proofs thereof.
