Today, accused is appeared before me before lok-adalat and
made application for pleading guilty. He submitted that he wants to plead
guilt. He is identified by his advocate. Particulars of offence is framed
against him, to which he voluntarily pleaded guilty. Heard accused in
person. He submitted that lenient view may be taken as he is only
earning member in his respective family. Considering the nature of
offence, circumstances under which it is committed, antecedents of the
accused & his age, I proceed to pass following order :
O R D E R
1. Accused is hereby convicted for the offence under 65(A) of
Maharashtra Prohibition Act and sentenced to pay fine of
Rs. 2,000/- ( Rupees Two Thousand only), and in default of
payment of fine, to suffer simple imprisonment for 1 (One) day.
2. Accused is hereby convicted for the offence under 65(E) of
Maharashtra Prohibition Act and sentenced to pay fine of
Rs. 2,000/- ( Rupees Two Thousand only), and in default of
payment of fine, to suffer simple imprisonment for 1 (One) day.

3. Seized liquor be forwarded to Excise Department and Honda Activa
bearing No. MH-47-AL-5282 be returned to its original owner, after
due verification.
