1] Applicant praying for direction to respondent to register
the death of her mother-in-law namely Smt. Venubai Narayan Gurav.
She submitted that, on14/06/2020 her mother-in-law namely Smt.
Venubai Narayan Gurav died at-217, Shree Shiv Nagar, Opp. Air India
Main Gate, Kalina, Santacruz (E), Mumbai 400 029. However, due to
inadvertence she did not take entry regarding her death. She requires
death certificate of her mother-in-law. She further submits that, her
mother-in-law died at above said address. Hence, this application is
filed. Applicant in support of her contention has filed Death Report of
his mother-in-law.
2] Respondent has filed his report stating that, death entry
of deceased Smt. Venubai Narayan Gurav is not recorded in the
register of death record of H/East Ward under R.B.D. Act. Considering
the documents filed by the applicant it appears that, the date of the
death of the mother-in-law of the applicant is correctly mentioned.
Admittedly, after the death of the mother-in-law of the applicant the
entry thereto was not taken in the concerned register even after laps
of two years. Therefore, Respondent needs to be directed to take entry
regarding death of Smt. Venubai Narayan Gurav in the concerned
register. Hence, the following order is passed.

1] Application is allowed.
2] Respondent is directed to take entry regarding the
date of death of Smt. Venubai Narayan Gurav, as
on14/06/2020 in the concerned register after
depositing requisite fee.
