1] Applicant praying for direction to respondent to register
the death of his married daughter namely Mrs. Suman Bharatsingh
Balot @ Suman Arjun Singh Rathore. He submitted that, on
18/12/2021 his daughter namely Mrs. Suman Bharatsingh Balot @
Suman Arjun Singh Rathore, was murdered by her husband hence, she
died at Omkar Nagar, 2nd Floor, Om Sai Nagar, Juhu Koliwada,
Santacruz (W), Mumbai 400 054. However, due to inadvertence he
did not take entry regarding her death. He requires death certificate of
his daughter. He further submits that, his daughter died at above said
address. Hence, this application is filed. Applicant in support of his
contention has filed F.I.R. and Death Report of his daughter.
2] Respondent has filed his report stating that, death entry
of deceased Mrs. Suman Bharatsingh Balot @ Suman Arjun Singh
Rathore is not recorded in the register of death record of K/West Ward
under R.B.D. Act. Considering the documents filed by the applicant it
appears that, the date of the death of the daughter of the applicant is
correctly mentioned. Admittedly after the death of the daughter of the
applicant the entry thereto was not taken in the concerned register
even after laps of two years. Therefore, Respondent needs to be
directed to take entry regarding death of Mrs. Suman Bharatsingh
Balot @ Suman Arjun Singh Rathore in the concerned register. Hence,
the following order is passed.

O R D E R
1. Application is allowed.
2. Respondent is directed to take entry regarding the
date of death of Mrs. Suman Bharatsingh Balot @
Suman Arjun Singh Rathore as on 18/12/2021 in
the concerned register after depositing requisite
fee.
