That, on 16.03.2020 within the jurisdiction of Bandra Police Station,
you accused without taking prior permission from the concerned office of
Municipal Corporation, deface public property by publishing poster “DGT
CLASSES congratulations to SSC Toppers” illegally on public place and
thereby committed an offence punishable U/Sec.3 of the Maharashtra
Prevention of Defacement of Property Act and within my cognizance.
And I hereby direct that, you be tried by the said Court on the said
charge.

JUDGMENT ON ADMISSION
(Delivered on 19th day of September, 2020)
1] Today, accused Sameer Jaywant Raorane is produced before
me by Bandra Police Station along with chargesheet. On particulars of
offence being explained to him in vernacular, he voluntarily pleaded guilty.
Hence, I hold the accused guilty for the offence punishable U/Sec.3 of the
Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Act.
2] Heard the accused and Ld. A.P.P on the point of sentence. The
Ld. A.P.P submitted that appropriate order be passed. The accused
submitted that, he is a poor person and earning member of his family. He
prayed for leniency. Considering material and submission, I ordain as
follows to meet the ends of justice :
O R D E R
1. Accused Sameer Jaywant Raorane is convicted vide section 252 of
Criminal Procedure Code for the offence punishable U/Sec.3 of the
Maharashtra Prevention of Defacement of Property Act. He is
sentenced to suffer Simple Imprisonment till rising of the Court and
to pay fine of Rs.500/ (Rupees Five Hundred Only).
2. The copy of the Judgment be given to the accused free of cost.
(Judgment is pronounced in open court.)
