COMMITTAL ORDER
This chargesheet is submitted against accused before this Court by
Sr. Inspector of police, Shahu Nagar Police Station, Mumbai for the offence
punishable U/Sec.U/Sec.307, 354, 354 (D), 188, 269, 504, 506 of the
Indian Penal Code, Section 37 (1), 135 of Maharashtra Police Act, Section
3, 4, 5 Epidemic Act, Section 51 (b) of Disaster Management Act, Remedy
Plan and Rules – 11 for Covid – 19. Copy of chargesheet is furnished to the
accused.
The offence punishable U/Sec.307 of the Indian Penal Code against
accused is exclusively triable by the Hon'ble Court of Sessions. Hence, this
case is committed to the Court of Sessions, Gr. Bombay, U/Sec.209 of the
Criminal Procedure Code.
The accused is in jail. The Jail Authority is directed to produce the

accused before Court of Sessions, Gr. Bombay on 24.12.2020.
The record and proceeding be sent to the Court of Sessions, Gr.
Bombay forthwith. The Shahu Nagar police station is hereby directed to
produce the muddemal property, if any, before the Court of Sessions, Gr.
Bombay as and when directed.
The Public Prosecutor, Court of Sessions, Gr. Bombay, be intimated
accordingly.
