ORDER BELOW EXHIBIT-1
Perused the proceeding the complainant present in
person along with his advocate. Accused is present. The matter is
listed for cross-examination. Record reflects that, the cost of
Rs.3,000/- was debit on the accused and the application for
adjournment filed by the accused. The cost is paid. However, the
accused today orally submitted before this Court that, he is willing to
settle the matter. However, he requires some time. Learned Advocate
representing the complainant asked from written undertaking from
the accused.
2. Needless to mention that, as per the direction of Hon’ble
High Court old matters needs to be disposed expeditiously. The
accused has made genuine request before this Court. Since, the
offence is compoundable, this Court finds that, one last opportunity
needs to be given to the accused considering his submission before
this Court. The accused asked the time till the end of October 2026
for settlement. Thus, the matter be listed for settlement between the
complainant and accused. This Court made it clear that, upon failure
part of the accused to settle the matter on next date, no adjournment
will be granted to the accused and necessary order will be passed
