ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF BIRTH
1] This is an application filed by applicant Namrata Nilesh Darge
with contention that her son Vedant Nilesh Darge was born on 17/02/2016 at
the above mentioned address i.e. at home. Due to inadvertence and not
knowing legal proceeding, birth of her son could not get registered with
concern BMC authorities within the stipulated period.
2] The respondent i.e. Medical Officer of Health, G/North Ward
has filed report and submitted that the birth of Vedant Nilesh Darge born on
17/02/2016 to Smt. Namrata Nilesh Darge and Mr. Nilesh Dhondu Darge is not
registered with this office. He further submitted that to scrutinize the proposal
and necessary order be passed.
3] Alongwith this application, the applicant has filed on record her
affidavit stating every facts as per her application and enclosed xerox copies of
her Aadhaar card, hospital's discharge report, vaccination card etc.

4] On perusing the affidavit, documents of the applicant in support of
her application and report of BMC, this Court did not find any hesitation to
accept that 17/02/2016 is true and correct date of birth of son of applicant.
Hence, proceed to pass following order.
ORDER
1] The application is allowed.
2] The concern authority 'The Registrar, Birth and Death, G/North
Ward, Dadar (W), Mumbai – 400 028 is directed to take entry of the date of
birth i.e. 17/02/2016 (Seventeen February Two Thousand Sixty) of Vedant
Nilesh Darge son of Mr. Nilesh Dhondu Darge and Mrs. Namrata Nilesh Darge,
in their register on accepting the fees as per the rules.
